This listing is is for a US Air Force recognition plaque. It is a named item given to an officer at the former Webb AFB, TX dated 1962. This is an original item. Measures 10 in. height x 7 inches width. Back is blank. Showing signs of handling and exposure consistent with its age. Black Japanned finish on wood shows patina, flaked in a couple of spots, see pictures. Of course this is a used item, it became used the day is was given to the officer.
