_THE BOY SCOUT SIGNAL _or _THE CAMP ON THE CLIFF _was written by Capt. V. T. Sherman and published by M. A. Donohue & Co. in Chicago in 1913. No other years of publication or printings are listed so, I believe, this is a First Edition. The book measures 7 3/8" x 4 7/8" and has 154 pages. The dust jacket has some condition issues - tears and pieces missing primarily from the upper and lower spine. The illustrated hardcovers are in decent shape. There is some staining along the bottom edges of the book along with some corner bumping and upper/lower spine wear. The pages are toned. Some pages in the beginning of the book have lower right bent corners. The binding is "strained" in some places (photos 10, 11). Photo 12 shows creases in the paper, lining the back cover. Please view all photos as they are part of the description, ask questions, and thanks for looking. Additional photos provided upon request. This book will be shipped Media Mail or can be picked up at zip code 28557 if you are travelling this way.
