19th Century Mandalay Teak Box. An antique Mandalay (Burma) wedding/gift/traveling chest adorned with carved arches and flowers inside (interior mirror needs replacing) and brass braces and geometric brass string inlay and "MANDALAY BOX" outside. The center tray is removable and reveals the larger storage area; hidden compartment on side. Working lock with two keys included. Dimensions: 20.5 inches x 13 inches x 9.5 inches (l x d x h). Age appropriate wear. Please look at photos available. My husband and I bought a bunch of items when we traveled through Asia a few years ago, hoping to sell at fairs over the summers. Obviously the current situation has impacted all that so we are moving it here. Local pick up only due to item's size and fragility. Item weighs 27 pounds.
