I purchased this new from Zoro about 3 or 4 years ago. I build guitars for a living and had planned on using it for a woodworking jig (_an enclosed cabinet with a custom sanding dish that rotates_) . I built part of the jig but acquired a large spindle sander and didn't have the space for the jig anymore. I did wire up the motor and test it out and it does run perfectly but I never got around to completing the jig due to space constraints. I could use the money and so that's why I'm selling this motor which has sat unused unused in my climate controlled workshop.
Cosmetically, it has a few light scratches (_look at the photos)_. These Dayton industrial grade gearmotors are not cheap and are very well built. I paid around $525 for it several years ago and the price has remained the same. I'm asking $350 for the motor with free shipping. I built an MDF shipping box for it (shown in the background) - so it won't get damaged during shipping.
This is a great motor that has no more than a minute or two of runtime on it.
