Description
"The alchemist is portrayed concocting a secret mixture i his search for the youth-bestowing elixir. At the upper left is the magical lodestone, reported to have the ability to convert base metal into gold." (Description taken from Owens-Illinois)
This print was commissioned as a token of appreciation on rewards for performance in connection with Owens Illinois Glass Company with its customers, who were large pharmaceutical companies and other uses of prescription vials and containers.
I bought this about 20 years ago and have always loved it! My wife hates it. This has a tear in the paper on the back of the frame as shown it the pics. I bought this exactly how it is currently. I bought it from an estate sale. If you have any questions message me. Will only ship to the lower 48.
