Hi, I'm selling this early 1990's Fender Acoustic Dreadnought made in South Korea.
It has a booming sound and plays in correct pitch from chord to chord which
is essential in an acoustic guitar for sure.
It has a laminate Sitka Spruce top with Rosewood laminate back and sides
with a rosewood fretboard and Ebony bridge with ,Real Bone, white bridge pins with black dots.
The pics show Ebony bridge pins but I changed them to, Real Bone, white ones and it does sound even better now.
It has the Fender logo mother of pearl inlay headstock appointment.
There are signs of ware but the sound is very good. It has small diamond shaped fret position
markers and black on white binding neck side markers too.
The neck is straight. The action in low and plays without any buzzing.
I installed a bone nut and bone saddle and with the bone bridge pins they all work together very nicely.
This guitar has been played a lot and does show various signs of ware but without any cracks and weather checks.
I always feel that a guitar that's been played a lot must be good. And this one has been played.
There are many superficial scratches on the top, sides and back with some dings as per normal in a well used
vintage guitar 30 years old. It also has some buckle marks on the lower back of the guitar not overly noticeable though if
not flashed on by a camera of course as in the pics.
In closing this guitar has been used. I have a K. Yiari Alvarez from Japan that plays and sounds great
but has character marks as they say. So that's full disclosure on the condition and specs.
This guitar does sound very good and does tune up well and is comfortable to play with that low action on its strings.
When new ,in the 90's, this guitar sold for $385.00 as per the serial number and etc.
The buy it now price is set at $199.99 but of course there is open bidding for the guitar. Thanks for your interest !
