_WILHELM MEISTER'S APPRENTICESHIP _is a novel from the German by Goethe and translated by R. Dillon Boylan, ESQ. The book was published in London by Henry G. Bohn in 1861. The book measures 7 7/16" x 4 3/4" and has 570 pages plus 8 additional pages of Bohn's Various Libraries (other publications.) The brown, ornately embossed hardcovers show corner, edge, and upper/lower spine wear. The lettering on the spine is in gilt gold. The front cover "wiggles" with the paper partially separated between the two pages. The pages are generally in good shape with no observed dog-ears, creases, or tears. However, I did not go through the book page by page. The pages are toned along the edges. The binding is strained in some places in the book (see photos). Please view all photos as they are part of the description, ask questions, and thanks for looking. Additional photos provided upon request. This will be shipped Media Mail or can be picked up at zip code 28557 if you are travelling this way.
