This is a 12 inch German viola labeled “Manfred H. Reinl.” Once the bridge ruffling that I included is fitted to the instrument, it would be playable as is. See picture of the new bridge. Important: The bridge needs to be worked on to make it work for this instrument! This was a 1/2 size violin that had its ribs heightened, to have more volume on the inside, so it is more conducive for the sound of a viola. The instrument has nicks and scratches The edges show wear. See picture for details. It has strings that are old but in good condition. There’s only one hairline crack at the right f-hole but it’s not open it has been glued. The case is used. It has some damage on the outside. See picture for details. The bowl holders are loose, but they will still do they are job of holding a bow. It comes with a low quality wooden bow that has a piece of the ivory missing at the tip and the tip has been broken and was glued. Take as is. No returns!!
