This is a lovely Coin Silver spoon in the traditional Fiddle Back pattern, manufactured by John Hatch Chedell in Auburn, NY. This spoon, circa 1827 - 1850, bears the Chedell hallmark – bust, ”D”, and eagle.
All silver items sold by us have been checked with a Thermo Scientific Niton XL2 Alloy Analyzer and is guaranteed to be correct on purity composition.
The spoon is engraved with the initials “E. L. A.” and is in excellent condition, with the expected light scuffs from use. It is 6.5” x 1.25” and weighs 23 grams. PLEASE SEE OUR STORE FOR MORE VINTAGE SILVER ITEMS.
