These cameras are from the combined estates of my husband’s and my families. I've tried to take decent pix of pertinent parts, but if you need more, just ask! Otherwise, the pictures tell the story of these iconic 8mm movie cameras. Both are in really nice condition.
First up is the 8mm Brownie Kodak with f/1.9 lens. It dates from the 1950s and was my dad’s, but beyond that, I don't know a lot about it. I do remember my dad using it way back when I was little. It appears to be in nice condition, clean inside and out, but it is not tested (what you see is what you get), so I can’t attest to the quality of any footage it might shoot since I have no film for it. It ran for me when I wound it. The booklet that came with the camera is included.
The second camera is a vintage Revere Movie Camera Eye-Matic 8mm Spool Model 116 Power Zoom and was purchased in 1961 by my father-in-law. It has a 9mm wide-angle lens; Wollensak f/1.8 Raptar zoom. The camera runs when wound, but beyond that, as with the first camera, it is untested since I have no film for it. So I have no idea of the quality of any footage that it would shoot. It's in very nice cosmetic condition and is clean, inside and out. The case is included and is in good, clean condition.
The cameras are pretty heavy, so the most economical shipping will be Priority Mail.
Thanks for looking; please bid.
