This is a sweet Noritake handleless compote or comport, glazed in yellow, grey and black. The main decorative motif is a trinity of fruit and their foliage; oranges, lemons and grapes. The compote is trimmed in a dark grey and black geometric design. The piece is in excellent overall condition, with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. It is marked on the bottom with the Noritake M in Wreath backstamp in green, mark 27.0. The piece measures 3.0" high, and is 6.5" in diameter. White spots, if any, are camera glare. Successful buyer is responsible for shipping and insurance and payment must be received within ten (10) business days of the close of the auction or the sale may be voided.
