This is a lovely Art Deco era Noritake two scroll handle serving plate decorated with an Asian scene consisting of a series of islands, connecting bridges, weeping trees and a pagoda. The two handles are trimmed with gold lustre/luster but the predominant color of the piece is Kelly green. The plate measures 7.75" from handle to handle. The plate is in excellent overall condition, with no chips, cracks, hairlines, fleabites or repairs, though it seems that there was a factory paint miss towards the left hand side of the left hand bridge. I will be listing a matching sandwich or tidbit plate. It is marked on the bottom with Noritake M in Wreath back stamp in red, mark 27.1.
