Shipped with Insurance by USPS Priority Mail. Up for auction is 1 REUVEN NOUVEAU ART GLASS CO. OF ISRAEL ORIGINAL HAND PAINTED GLASS WATER PITCHER. It measures 8 inches high, by about 4 1/2 inches at its widest, with a 3 1/4 inch top opening, and holds about 36 ounces. Although it was purchased from an old estate sale on Long Island and was pre-owned, it is in absolutely wonderful condition, with only the tinest scratches from normal wear. I guess that's because it sat on a shelf inside a closed dining room cabinet for many years, and there aren't even any scratches on the bottom, as cane seen in photograph # 9. I have been collecting unusual vintage objects for many years, and always try to describe the item as best as I can. There are absolutely no other flaws that I can see anywhere on water pitcher. There are no chips, cracks, fleabites, scratches, stains, cloudiness, or repairs. There is, however, a little mold roughness near the spout, but I can assure you that there is nothing chipped or broken there, as can be seen in photographs #s 6, 7, 8, and 11. It comes from a smoke-free home. Rueven has been designing these gorgeous art glassware for over 30 years, recreating reproductions of an original Persian Art Glass originating over 3,500 year ago. Each piece is individually designed and distinctively hand colored so no two water pitchers are ever the same. Rueven artistically hand-colors his designs and etches the colors into each piece, and then fires the colored glass in an annealing process that permanently tempers the glass, so that everyone who owns a pieces is assured that it was made just for that special someone. His slow cooling process is carefully controlled in order to prevent any cracking, and enhances the oxidation precess of the metals used to insure bold and rich hues. The vibrant colors come out because the glass is so thin and translucent. I only accept PayPal, and never charge extra for packaging and handling. Shipping and Insurance costs $18.85 via USPS Priority Mail. Payment is expected within 3 days, after which I will immediately ship out the glass water pitcher as soon as payment is verified by eBay. Buyer may be subject to sales tax which is collected by eBay, and not given to me at all. If payment is not received within 5 days, the glass bowl will be relisted. Returns will be arranged only if I have shipped the wrong item, or if I have misrepresented the item or its condition. If you need more pictures or further details, please feel free to contact me. You must be happy with you purchase. Please ask all questions, and contact me with any issues before bidding, because your bid is a contract. Please know that we can work together. I really would like a 5-star feedback from you. Thanks for looking at my auction, and "good luck".
