A sterling silver individual berry spoon in a luncheon/dessert size.
Bowl beautifully embossed with fruits and foliage.
Terminal decorated with scrolls and foliage on both sides,
please see photos.
Not monogrammed.
Hallmarked to the rear:
"Queen profile" for tax/duty;
date letter "D" for 1879;
"Lion passant" for British sterling silver;
"Leopard head" for city of London:
initials "F H" over a "dot" into a heart-form punch
for well-known silversmith Francis Higgins.
All mark are crisp and clear, please see photos.
Approx.: Length: 5-3/4in. (145mm.)
Bowl (crosswise): 1-7/8in. x 1-3/16in. (48mm. x 30mm.)

Thick-walled, heavy for it size.
