Please read ALL details. This is a German PUW 500 parts watch that was probably made in the 1930s. The watch has no name on the dial. The dial side of the movement shows the very early "PUW" logo. The back of the case says "Krupp-Stahl". The watch has 15mm wire lugs and a nice gray-brown nylon strap.
Please read: When I wound the watch it started ticking, but the second hand didn’t move. When I removed the dial I noticed that the pinion the second hand goes on was broken (but the watch still runs), and a previous "fix" was to take the small second hand and flare out the end so it stays in place on the dial, but does not spin. They also removed the broken part of the pinion from the second hand. So consider this a parts/project watch that is being sold AS-IS. I think the movement is scarce enough that it should have some value to someone that needs the movement to fix their watch, or just wants to fix this one.
The case is 23mm wide not counting the crown, and 39mm long including the lugs. See photos for more details.
