For your consideration is a good condition original oil on canvas painting by Louis Dali. Louis Dali (1905-2001) was a French painter well known for capturing the atmosphere of Paris in his street scenes. Dali mostly specialized in painting smaller Parisian street scenes on commemorative plates, but he also did some slightly larger works on canvas such as this one.
I purchased this painting at a local estate sale from a wealthy family that loved to travel to Europe. I'm not 100% sure of the provenance of the painting prior to the previous owners, but I believe the prior owners likely purchased the painting at a salon in Paris based on the Declaration of Sale (see picture). I have enjoyed this painting for several years as I really like Dali's scenes and technique - but I have decided it's time to cycle it out and onward for another enthusiast to enjoy.
