Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a mighty cool round vintage tile mosaic coffee table. Circa '50s / '60s. The metal legs are sturdy, and they screw on/off quite easily. The design on the top surface is somewhat abstract in appearance to us. Colors: Gold, Beige, Black, Red and Off-White. No labels or tags present - we are uncertain as to who made this item, but they did a nice job in our opinion. If you don't wish to use this as a coffee table, it can most certainly be rigged to hang on a wall as a piece of artwork - the choice is yours. It'll make a nice addition to any mid century modern interior setting!
Measurements: The table is approx. 36" in diameter x 18" tall. The brass band around the circumference at the top is approx. 2" tall.
Condition: Overall, we'd say the item is in good condition for its age. There are a few cosmetic flaws that we will mention here. First off, the legs are missing color in spots - they could definitely benefit from being repainted, and we'd recommend that (see photo for example). Next, the brass band which serves as the finishing edge along the top shows signs of patina and old scratches all the way around. This can easily be replaced or just left alone - we chose to leave it in the condition in which it was acquired. Lastly, there is a minimal amount of grout loss around the edge of the outer perimeter of the table (see photo) - it doesn't seem to affect anything, and is solely being mentioned for accuracy. Aside from that, the table could just benefit from a gentle cleaning as it shows age appropriate wear from use and handling over the years. There are no tiles missing, nor are any of the tiles loose. Being sold "as-is", "as-described". Please review all of the accompanying photos as together with the description, they constitute the item's condition. If you have questions, we encourage you to ask them prior to purchasing, and we will promptly respond back to you. Thanks for looking!
